2. Ghana-Only Service Notice
Our services are intended primarily for users located in Ghana. We do not actively market outside Ghana. Anyone accessing the platform outside Ghana does so at their own risk and is responsible for complying with applicable local laws and regulations.
3. Information We Collect
We may collect your full name, email address, phone number, profile photo, delivery address, GPS/location data (with permission), order history, negotiation activity, device/browser/IP information, product preferences, and marketing preferences. We may also collect communications and bargaining interactions made through our negotiation system to improve pricing accuracy, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and customer experience. Authentication and account management may be handled through Clerk or similar providers.
4. Payments
Payments are processed securely through Hubtel and supported payment providers using methods such as Mobile Money and bank cards. Jmall does not store sensitive payment credentials including card numbers, CVV details, or MoMo PINs.
5. How We Use Data
We use data to create accounts, authenticate users, process orders, coordinate deliveries, personalize nearby product listings, support negotiations, prevent fraud, provide customer support, send transactional notifications, improve mall functionality, and enhance platform security and user experience.
6. Automated Negotiation & Pricing
Jmall may use automated systems, pricing logic, and mall rules to process negotiations and bargain requests between buyers and sellers. Negotiation outcomes may depend on vendor pricing settings, discounts, flash sales, stock availability, customer activity, demand, delivery considerations, and fraud-prevention checks. Negotiation interactions may be stored for analytics, compliance, and dispute handling.
7. Sharing Information
Vendors may receive limited customer information necessary to fulfill orders, including buyer name, contact details, delivery address, and negotiation outcome. Delivery personnel or logistics partners may receive information required to transport and deliver orders. We limit information sharing strictly to operational, security, legal, and customer-support purposes.
8. Slightly Used Products
Some vendors may list slightly used, refurbished, or slightly used products on the platform. Product descriptions, conditions, photos, and usage details are provided by vendors. Buyers are encouraged to carefully review all listing details before purchase. Jmall may moderate listings for compliance and safety purposes but does not independently guarantee the condition or authenticity of slightly used products unless explicitly stated.
9. Delivery Services & Location Data
Jmall may provide or coordinate delivery services directly or through third-party riders, drivers, dispatch personnel, pickup stations, or logistics partners. Delivery-related information such as addresses, contact numbers, delivery instructions, and approximate GPS/location data may be used to fulfill orders, estimate delivery times, improve routing efficiency, verify deliveries, and provide customer support.
10. Analytics & Cookies
We may use cookies, analytics tools, tracking technologies, and security services including Google Analytics and Cloudflare Analytics to improve platform performance, personalization, fraud detection, negotiation optimization, security monitoring, and overall user experience.

Negotiation records, transaction history, delivery logs, and support communications may be retained as necessary for operations, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, auditing, and service improvement.
13. Mall Role
Jmall primarily operates as a mall platform connecting buyers, vendors, slightly used sellers, and logistics providers. Vendors remain responsible for product accuracy, pricing, legality, warranties, inventory availability, and fulfillment obligations unless otherwise explicitly stated by Jmall.
14. Pay Small Small & Instalment Data
When you use Pay Small Small or other instalment options, we collect and process information needed to operate your plan, including your selected down payment and duration, payment schedule, instalment and payment history, plan status, and any default or cancellation records, together with related transaction data. We use this information to manage your plan, process payments and refunds, send payment reminders and notifications, prevent fraud, and meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Payments are processed through our supported payment providers as described above, and we do not store sensitive payment credentials.
15. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, technological, or service changes. Material updates may be communicated through the website, email notifications, SMS, or in-app notices.
